Richard J. Anderson, Sr., Chairman Emeritus
Dick Anderson has been in the business of supplying materials required by Original Equipment Manufacturers for flexible barrier membranes since 1957. His experience in the development of fabrics, and the processes, equipment, and testing necessary to produce them is unrivaled in the industry.
When his career began, rubber was the option for most applications. Since then, Dick has helped develop urethane coated and laminated fabrics that have revolutionized the manufacture of everything from camping equipment to space suits. The fabrics for which he is responsible have resulted in much improved end-product quality, higher productivity for the OEM, and significantly smaller impact on our environment.
Currently, Dick is focusing his talents and wealth of experience on new product research and development.
Richard J. Anderson, Jr., President, CEO
Rick joined his father in this industry directly after earning his degree in polymer chemistry and computer science from Upsala College in 1984. Since then he has worked in all aspects of the business, from the mixing room to operations manager. He has been the driving force behind exploring advanced technology and helping refine chemistry, machinery, and processes. This leadership has resulted in today's high performance fabrics and the resulting end-uses not allowed by rubber. Most recently, he has been key in our development of a new line of double laminates offering several superior qualities.
Rick is now responsible for the day-to-day operation of Lamcotec, as well as contributing greatly to new product development.
Richard J. Malo, QC and R&D Manager
Since Rick joined Lamcotec in 1991, he has worked in nearly every department. His wealth of experience includes helping develop new manufacturing and testing methods. This has resulted in significant advances in quality and productivity for Lamcotec, and our customers, the OEMs.
Today, Rick directly interfaces with our customers to develop products that meet exacting specifications, oftentimes with capabilities not envisioned only a few years ago. He also is responsible for maintaining and improving product quality.
Eugene G. Parent, Plant Manager
When Gene came to Lamcotec in 1998, he brought with him a wealth of coating experience from the paper industry. This web experience has translated extremely well to fabric coating and laminating.
Gene is responsible for keeping the plant running smoothly and therefore maximizing our productive capacity. His efforts allow us to meet our shipping deadlines so our customers can meet theirs.
Brian Croker, European Sales Manager
Brian's background in engineering with a bias toward the textile industry led him into the world of sales of technical fabrics. His introduction to urethane coated and laminated fabrics came in 1980 while supplying companies in the marine and aviation industries with these materials. In fact, Brian and Lamcotec are still doing business with those early customers today.
Since joining Lamcotec in 1994, Brian has overseen the significant growth of our European customer base. He now has the responsibility of maintaining existing customer relationships as well as developing new opportunities.
